Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, the Ghanaian police officer accused of shooting and killing his sidechick, Victoria Dapaah aka Maadwoa, has denied being involved in her death in any way.
During his most recent court date on Monday, March 10, 2025, Inspector Twumasi declared himself innocent of all charges and said he does not know anything about Maadwoa's death.
Twumasi, who is a Ghana Police officer affiliated with the Ashanti Regional Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Unit, on assignment as a bodyguard at Manhyia Palace, claims that he heard about Maadwoa's death the same as everyone else and was not involved.
Under cross-examination from the prosecuting attorney, Twumasi denied having any affair with Maadwoa as widely reported in the media.
