The Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, Lydia Akanvariba, has assured President John Dramani Mahama of her commitment, alongside the newly sworn-in deputy ministers, to supporting his vision of resetting Ghana.
Speaking on behalf of the 13 deputy ministers sworn in at the Jubilee House, Madam Akanvariba expressed gratitude to the president for the opportunity to serve and reaffirmed their dedication towards the reset agenda. "Mr President, I want to thank you on my behalf and also on behalf of the deputy ministers you have sworn in today as we are committed to helping you to see that vision or resetting this country back to where it is supposed to be after the canker worm has eaten it," she stated.
She further pledged unwavering dedication to their duties, assuring the president that they would not disappoint him. "I want to make a solemn promise that we will never disappoint you.
We will do our bit and our best and try as much as possible to do work with the advice you have given us," she added.
