One of the victims of the collapsed building in Kasoa, who was in critical condition, is now responding to treatment. Three others died from the collapse. On Saturday August 24, 2024 a two-storey building under construction at Kasoa Asempa down caved in killing three persons instantly and injuring several others. A student at a private vocational school, who died, was serving as a labourer at the construction site when the building caved in. A carpenter working also died.
