The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Malik Basintale, has clarified the agency's plan to develop two applications aimed at managing its job avenues.
In a detailed Facebook post on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, addressing concerns raised by Ghanaians, Basintale assured that the development of the apps, designed to connect employers and job seekers, would come at no cost to the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
Explaining the need for two separate apps, he stated that one would specifically cater to artisans and skilled laborers, making it easier for them to find job opportunities.
He further noted that the apps would expand the job market beyond the local economy, facilitating seamless connections between job seekers and potential employers. "The first app is purposely for artisans and skilled labor.
