The Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has questioned the political stance of Professor , the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority.
According to Miracles Aboagye, Professor Gyampo was closer to the previous (NPP) government than many insiders within the party, making his recent alignment with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) surprising.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on March 10, 2025, Aboagye claimed that Professor Gyampo had direct access to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, frequently communicating with them via WhatsApp.
