The sixth edition of the Kwahu Mountain Marathon will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with over 1000 competitors scheduled to participate.
The 21km race, organised by Marathon Foundation Ghana in collaboration with Kwahu Traditional Council, would see athletes compete for cash prizes as well as sponsor products.
The marathon would use its usual route from Nkawkaw Goil Fuel Station through Obomeng, Mpraeso and to Kwahu Traditional Council`s Office at Bepong.
According to Mr Edward Boahen, project manager of the Kwahu Mountain Marathon, this year's edition will include participation certification for all competing athletes.
