A Development Economist, Dr George Domfeh has opined that the first 2025 Budget to be presented on Tuesday, March 11 will not be any different from the last budget presented by the erstwhile Akufo-Addo administration.

Domfeh believes that the erstwhile government has already laid the foundation for a resilient economy through its Post Covid Program for Economic Growth (PCPEG).
In an interview with TV3 on Monday, March 10, 2025, he said the only target which should be a key concern for government is to achieve the objectives set by the PCPEG. "I don't think we will hear anything too different from what we heard from the last NPP's budget because the PCPEG is still the main centre of attraction and so most of what we are going to do is to make sure we achieve the fundamental targets of the PCPEG," he stated.
