The former Member of Parliament for Mion, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, has revealed that several campaign promises made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be reflected in the 2025 budget.
He confirmed that initiatives such as the 24-hour economy and the establishment of a National Women's Development Bank will feature prominently in the financial plan for the year. "Most of the campaign pledges we made will find expression in this 2025 budget," he assured in an interview on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh.
The 24-hour economy policy, a flagship initiative of the NDC, aims to create employment opportunities by encouraging businesses to operate around the clock.
According to Abdul Aziz, this policy will be supported by measures in the budget to ensure its successful implementation.
