As the finance minister prepares to present the 2025 budget statement to parliament, the Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance, Joe Jackson, says the government must earmark funds to fight illegal small-scale mining (Galamsey) activities.
He said that it is only through a dedicated budget that the government can indicate its unambiguous commitment to ending the menace.
