The Member of Parliament for Ofoase/Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has emphasised the importance of truthfulness during the presentation of the country's economic record.
Speaking on Joy News, he stated that Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson must be transparent when reporting on the nation's economic situation.
His remarks come ahead of the much-anticipated budget presentation by Finance Minister Dr Ato Forson, scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
According to him, the economic record of Ghana is not something that can be manipulated for political gain. "The economic record of this country is not in the mouth of any politician," he said, stressing the need for consistency and accuracy in the data presented.
