Lady Julia Osei Tutu, the wife of Asantehene , has inspired schoolchildren to develop self-confidence, emphasising its crucial role in achieving success and overcoming challenges. "The importance of self-confidence in shaping the future is the key to unlocking your potential and achieving greatness.
Developing self-confidence brings numerous benefits, including improved academic achievement and performance, enhanced relationships and social interactions, an increased ability to cope with challenges and setbacks, and the fostering of a positive self-image and mental well-being," she said.
Speaking at Lady Julia's Mentorship Masterclass 2025 programme, held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, she encouraged the students to believe in themselves, their abilities, and their dreams.
The programme, organised by the Foundation, was part of the International Women's Day celebrations, with the theme "Accelerate Action: Together We Can Force Women's Equality." Lady Julia's message particularly focused on empowering young girls and preparing them for a brighter future.
