Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum has admitted his side lack the prerequisite fitness to compete despite marking their Ghana Premier League return with a 2-0 win over Legon Cities on Sunday.

Kotoko had not featured in a competitive game since February 2 after the tragic passing of staunch fan Francis Frimpong, Nana Pooley, in their matchday 19 clash against Nsoatreman.

The Porcupine Warriors did not participate in the MTN FA Cup round of 16 two weeks ago after holding out to return to all football related activities after the burial of their fan.

On Sunday, goals from defender Patrick Asiedu and a late Kwame Opoku strike sent Kotoko to the summit of the Ghana Premier League.
