The driver responsible for the tragic hit-and-run accident that killed two former Achimota School students, Davida Asante Boateng and Lilian Akorli, has been arrested, according to family sources.
The devastating incident, which occurred on March 7, 2025, along the Achimota Highway, claimed the lives of the two young women, both members of the Old Achimotan Association 2024 (OAA24) and former residents of Stopford House.
Confirming the arrest, Alice Safoa, aunt of the late Davida, said that the driver was apprehended by police following a chase on the night of the incident. "The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m.
According to the police, the driver was arrested after a chase.
