An elderly woman turned up at NDC's 2024 manifesto launch at Winneba in a touching display of support and loyalty to the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Effutu, James Kofi Annan. The 86-year-old woman said she had travelled down from the United State of America to Ghana, to show love and support for him. A video shared on X by Elephant News network showed the woman standing in the rain to grant the interview. "I want to speak. I hail from Effutu, Kofi Annan's father and mother as well as his grand parent hails from Effutu .They say they don't like him but we do . We like Kofi Annan a lot.
