The Founder of the All People's Party (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has blamed Ghanaians of empowering the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to engage in more corrupt activities. According to him, the attitude of vote buying is causing more harm than good, as the right people will not be given the chance to lead if they do not succumb to the 'no money, no vote' policy. In a yet-to-be-aired interview on TV's Election Desk, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, Hassan Ayariga entreated Ghanaians to refrain from corruption and its related activities by the NPP and NDC ahead of the December polls. "Now, we are saying we understand your pain, we understand the hardship, we understand the difficulties but if I have to pay for you to vote for me, I am equally going to be like NDC, NPP and I don't want to be corrupt. "You ask them, where did they get the money to pay you? Where are they getting the money to pay you? Why will you want me to give you a job and you have to pay me for me to give you the job?
