Two members of the Old Achimotan Association 2024 (OAA24) were tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident while returning from the school's annual bonfire celebration on March 7, 2025.
In a statement released on March 8, 2025, OAA24 announced the devastating loss of the two members.
The victims, both females from Stopford House, succumbed to their injuries on March 8, 2025, after being hospitalized following the accident on the Achimota Highway.
Lilian Akorli and Davida Asante Boateng were returning to the University of Professional Studies, Accra, after attending the school's bonfire event when they were struck by a vehicle at approximately 11:30 p.m.
