Member of Parliament for Madina in the Greater Accra Region, Francis Xavier Sosu has assured the President and the Attorney General of his commitment to see a reset of legal education and practice in Ghana. "I am grateful to the President John Dramani Mahama and the AG and humbly accept this normination and promise to work with other Council members and relevant stakeholders to achieve the reset agenda of the President," he said in a post shared via social media.
He emphasized the need for the reforms for the General Legal Council, which was set up in 1960 by the Legal Profession Act and indicated that he will work together with stakeholders to reset the system.
