The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, , has drawn a comparison between President , the (NPP), and a biblical parable. During the launch of the NDC 2024 Manifesto on Saturday, August 24, 2024, Mahama stated that Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the NPP, as a team, are worse than the steward reprimanded in the Parable of the Talents as told in Matthew 25:14-30. He explained that the parable teaches on investing wisely whatever is entrusted to a person for the benefit of his or her master. In this context, John Mahama indicated that the master represents Ghana.
