The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has underscored the importance of setting up a Renewable Energy and Green Transition Fund.
He said the fund will help in government's green transition efforts.
Speaking as the guest speaker at the 2025 Sustainable Energy Policy Dialogue, organised by the Centre of Excellence in Public Utility Regulation (CEPUR) at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) on March 5, he emphasised the government's commitment to addressing challenges in the energy sector through strategic interventions.
As part of these efforts, the government will establish a Renewable Energy and Green Transition Fund, in accordance with the Renewable Energy Act, to support research and development of home-grown green technologies.
