The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ablekuma North, Kofi Ofori, has highlighted the establishment of a KFC outlet and fuel filling stations as key indicators of development within his constituency. Speaking on Atinka TV's constituency watch programme dubbed, "Ablekuma North in Focus," on August 22, 2024, Ofori emphasized that these developments are part of his administration's broader agenda to enhance the area's infrastructure and attract investors. During the interview, Ofori pointed out that the presence of a KFC restaurant and newly constructed filling stations in Ablekuma North is a testament to the area's growth. He noted that not every part of Accra can boast such facilities, making their presence in the constituency a significant achievement.
"We didn't have this filling station before, but because we are developing the town, investors are now coming to this place.
"When you go to Kwashieman, the whole of Accra, it is not everywhere that there is a KFC, but we have developed the town to attract investors, so we have KFC.
"Initially, if someone had built a filling station here, they would have run at a loss because the roads were not good, but now that the roads have been done, we have a filling station, and all this forms part of the development," he said.
