Veteran journalist and political analyst Kwesi Pratt has dismissed claims that he has been appointed as a Special Communications Advisor to the President.
Speaking on Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana monitored by MyNewsGH, he described the speculation as "ridiculous in the extreme." Pratt clarified that he had only accompanied a delegation from the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research, led by Dr.
Lio, to pay a courtesy call on the Vice President.
However, shortly after the visit, some New Patriotic Party (NPP) communicators began circulating claims that he had been given an official role in government. "I haven't reacted because I don't care," he said, adding that those spreading the misinformation were engaging in "childish mischief." He further questioned why some individuals sought to undermine his credibility, stating, "Who appointed them to their offices?
