President John Dramani Mahama led Ghana's 68th Independence Day celebration with a ceremonial inspection of the parade at the Jubilee House.

The event, which commemorates the country's liberation from colonial rule, was marked with a modest but symbolic display of national pride.

The President's inspection of the parade, made up of security personnel and school cadets, was a key highlight of the occasion.

The disciplined march-past and a special formation of the number '68' paid tribute to the country's journey since gaining independence on March 6, 1957.
