The Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, made a grand entrance at Ghana's 68th Independence Day celebration, held at the Jubilee House in Accra.
Dressed in resplendent traditional regalia, the revered king's presence added a touch of cultural significance to the national event, which commemorates Ghana's liberation from colonial rule.
The annual Independence Day celebration brings together national leaders, diplomats, and traditional rulers to honour Ghana's journey to freedom.
This year's ceremony, hosted at the seat of government, saw President John Dramani Mahama and other dignitaries acknowledge traditional authorities' role in nation-building.
