Unknown gunmen stormed the residence of former Hohoe Member of Parliament, John Peter Amewu, on Wednesday, March 5, claiming to be acting on "orders from above." According to Mr.
Amewu, the assailants identified themselves as bailiffs and alleged that he was not properly elected as an MP in the 2020 elections.
They insisted they were there to serve him a notice questioning the legitimacy of his election and the constitutionality of the Constitutional Instrument (C.I.) that governed the process.
