The Ghana Police Service has announced the temporary closure of some roads ahead of the 68th Independence Day parade to be held at the Jubilee House.
The liberation road at Opeabia intersection, 37 Intersection towards the Central Business District, Independence Avenue at Ako-Adjei Bypass Jawaharlal Nehru Road at Switchback Road area and Presidential Drive around the Jubilee House will be blacked at TV3 Junction and Kanda link.
The statement announcing the roadblocks urged motorists to be advised and make arrangements and plans for alternative routes before embarking on their journey.
Unlike previously done, this year's parade will take place at the Jubilee House.
