The Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah, has accused the John Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government of resetting the country in a negative direction.

During his inauguration on January 7, 2025, President John Mahama outlined four key areas of focus to drive his "Reset Ghana" agenda.

He highlighted economic restoration and stabilization, improvement of the business and investment environment, governance and constitutional reforms, and accountability in the fight against corruption as his main priorities.

While some have commended the president for constituting a lean government to reduce the cost of running state affairs, critics have condemned certain decisions, including the annulment of all public sector appointments made after December 7, 2024.
