Former Member of Parliament for Agona West Constituency in the Central Region, Cynthia Morrison, has refuted allegations that former presidential aspirant on the ticket of the (NPP) Ken Agyapong financed her campaign to run as an independent candidate in the 2024 elections.
According to her, such claims are false, as Ken Agyapong was out of the country at the time of her election.
Speaking in an interview on Net 2 TV on March 4, 2025, she stated, "I know I am sitting on Ken Agyapong's TV station, but I won't lie. "They claim that he financed my campaign, which is not true.
