Walewale Member of Parliament, Abdul Kabiru Tiah Mahama, has raised concerns over the government's borrowing habits, questioning its justification for excessive loans within its first months in power. "The problem with us is that when you bastardize something so much and go on to say that if managing the economy is just about borrowing money, then anyone can do it, you create expectations.

This is the statement they made. "They told the good people of Ghana that they had the solutions to excessive borrowing.

Yet, less than two months in power, they have borrowed 67 billion.

That clearly would raise eyebrows," he said on Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana monitored by MyNewsGH.
