Unknown men carrying guns in the name of National security allegedly invade the house of John Peter Amewu in Hohoe, on Wednesday, March 5.

The assailants, who identified themselves as bailiffs, claimed they were acting on "orders from above" and alleged that Mr Amewu had not been properly elected as an MP during the 2020 elections.

At the time of the incident, Mr Amewu was not at home, and authorities have not yet released further details regarding the attack.

An eyewitness recounted that the intruders insisted they were there to serve him a notice, stating that his election in 2020 was invalid.
