The Vice President of the Ghana Progressive Road Contractors Association, Hammond Larbi, has highlighted the devastating impact of delayed payments under the administration, alleging that some contractors lost their lives while waiting for their debts to be settled.

Speaking in an interview on Kasapa FM, monitored by on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, he revealed that over 500 road contractors were affected, with many unable to afford healthcare. "I was fighting for my contractors; they were more than 500.
