The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr.
Johnson Asiama, has disclosed that a total of $48.3 million has been paid in taxes and levies associated with the construction of the new Bank of Ghana headquarters.
Addressing Parliament on Wednesday, Governor Asiama also emphasised that the financial commitments extend beyond the core building.
Separate contracts were awarded for various essential infrastructure components.
