The Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr.
Johnson Asiama, has stated that the central bank's former headquarters was no longer fit for purpose, necessitating the construction of its new state-of-the-art office complex.
Dr.
Asiama made these remarks while addressing Parliament on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, to provide clarity on the costs and rationale behind the new headquarters.
