A heated exchange unfolded in Parliament as Speaker Alban Bagbin reprimanded Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin for challenging his ruling during proceedings.
The incident occurred when Afenyo-Markin, while making his submission on the floor of Parliament, questioned whether the Speaker was engaging in a debate with him.
This did not sit well with Speaker Bagbin, who firmly reminded him of parliamentary rules and procedures. "When you ask me a question and I am answering, then you come in to ask me if I am debating you.
Mr Speaker, there was a discussion, the Majority Leader had his opportunity to say his side of the story, and I am also making my point.
