The Minister of Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza has directed contractors working on the Ofankor to Nsawam junction rehabilitation project to ensure that the stretch remains motorable for commuters.
He stressed that the contractors must continuously grade and water the road to provide relief for motorists.
His directive follows complaints from some drivers about the deteriorating condition of the road and the slow progress of the project.
During a media interview while inspecting the stretch on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, Kwame Agbodza assured that the government would ensure the necessary funding is provided for the timely completion of the road.
