The Ghanaian cedi continued to experience fluctuations against major international currencies as the Bank of Ghana (BoG) published its exchange rates for Wednesday, 5 March 2025.
Per the latest rates, the cedi was buying at GHS 15.5122 to a US dollar and selling at GHS 15.5278.
Against the British pound, it traded at GHS 19.7223 for buying and GHS 19.7435 for selling, while the euro stood at GHS 16.3088 for buying and GHS 16.3237 for selling.
Compared to the previous day's rates, when the cedi was buying at GHS 15.5222 to the dollar and selling at GHS 15.5378, the currency showed a marginal appreciation.
