Two employees of a company located at Baatsonaa in Accra, who stole GH¢55,000, have been sentenced to three years' imprisonment each.

Appearing before an Accra Circuit Court on Tuesday, Hassana Mohammed, a cashier, and Joshua Nyama, a private security guard, pleaded guilty to their respective charges.

Hassana was charged with stealing, while Nyama was held for the abetment of crime.

The court, presided over by Sedinam Awo Kwadam, had earlier convicted Nyama on his plea and sentenced him to three years' imprisonment.
