John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer has pledged to operationalise the Komenda Sugar Factory and revive the Pwalugu Tomato Factory if he becomes president. Speaking at the party's manifesto launch at Winneba on Saturday, Mahama emphasised the importance of these initiatives in boosting local agriculture and creating jobs. He assured Ghanaians that the NDC is committed to revitalising these key industrial projects. Mahama also noted his next administration will build tomato processing plants in the Bono region as well as revive the Zuarungu meat factory. "We shall operationalise the Komenda Sugar Factory.
