Chairman of the Hajj Board, Collins Dauda has stated that amongst its neighbouring countries, Ghana is charging the cheapest fare for the Hajj pilgrimage.
Collins Dauda said the $4100 Hajj fare is significantly lower when compared to fares being charged by countries in the sub-region.
He noted that Senegal, Burkina Faso, Cote D'Ivoire, Nigeria are all charging over 5000 US dollars.
The Hajj fare for pilgrims in Ghana is $4100 which is equivalent to GHS62,000.
