Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana has criticised members of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) for their absence at the National Economic Dialogue which commenced on Monday, March 3.

The MP in an interview on TV3's New Day, Tuesday, March 4 described the NPP members as "unpatriotic" for boycotting such an important dialogue to provide homegrown solutions to Ghana's economic crisis.

He said members of the New Patriotic Party had no reason not to be present at the National Economic Dialogue because it brought together all stakeholders and industry players in the economy who had concerns about the country's economic challenges. "It doesn't speak well for them because there is no reason to boycott this particular dialogue.

This is a national dialogue.
