Many households in Liati Wote, a community in the Afadjato South District of the Volta region have been rendered homeless following a devastating rainstorm that has hit the community.
About fifty houses have been ripped off or collapsed leaving many residents without roof over their heads.
The devastating rainstorm which hit the community on Friday, February 28, 2025 began at about 6:00pm destroying many houses with close to 200 residents rendered homeless.
Residents say the storm has left them helpless and are appealing for support. "We need roofing sheets, iron rods and a lot to fix our houses back.
