The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has asked the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to begin preparing their handing over notes. Presenting the party's manifesto at Winneba on Saturday, Mahama expressed confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s prospects in the upcoming elections and criticised the NPP's governance. Mahama accused the NPP of failing to deliver on its promises and mismanaging the country's resources, leading to economic hardships and social challenges. He assured Ghanaians that the NDC is ready to take over and implement policies that will restore hope and development. He noted that Ghanaians were ready for change, and the "NDC was prepared to provide the leadership and solutions needed to move our country forward." He highlighted the NDC's commitment to addressing key issues such as job creation, healthcare, education, and infrastructure development.
