The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has criticised the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to deliver on its promises. Speaking at the party's manifesto launch at Winneba on Saturday, Kwetey accused the NPP of making grandiose promises to Ghanaians without any intention of fulfilling them. Mr Kwetey highlighted several key areas where he believes the NPP has fallen short, including economic management, job creation, and infrastructure development. He argued that the NPP's inability to meet its commitments has led to widespread disillusionment among the populace. However, he stressed that was not the case for the NDC because their promises and policies were anchored on principles. "We need to be careful that the competition for power should not become a simple competition between who can promise more because if it's an issue of who can promise more, we know the NDC, we can never match our friends in the NPP.
