The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has, by Executive Instrument, renewed the curfew imposed on Bawku Municipality and its surrounding areas in the Upper East Region.
The curfew will be enforced daily from 8:00 p.m.
to 5:00 a.m., beginning Monday, March 3, 2025.
The government has urged Chiefs, Elders, Opinion Leaders, and the Youth to exercise restraint in addressing community challenges and to adopt peaceful, non-violent approaches in their engagements.
