Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has disclosed that an estimated $1.4 billion is required to complete the unfinished hospital projects under the Agenda 111 initiative, launched by the previous NPP government.
He made this revelation during an inspection of two hospitals commissioned under the Akufo-Addo administration in the Ashanti Region.
The Agenda 111 project, launched on August 17, 2021, aimed to enhance healthcare infrastructure by constructing 101 district hospitals and six regional hospitals across the country.
It was part of the previous NPP government's vision to ensure that every district and region had access to a hospital.
