Ghana's newly appointed Technical Advisor, Winfried Schafer, has thrown down the gauntlet, declaring that the Black Stars can "punch their ticket" to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In his inaugural interview with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) since joining forces with Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, Schafer exuded confidence ahead of Ghana's impending 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
The matches, scheduled to take place during the March international window, will be crucial in determining Ghana's fate in Group I.
Currently, Ghana occupies second spot in the group I after four matches, level on points (nine) with leaders Comoros.
