This was after he said that Ghana's economy under the Akufo-Addo administration had been destroyed. Speaking during the launch of the NDC manifesto in Winneba on Saturday August 24, he said " the economy collapsed for the past seven years. The government ahs also introduced a plethora of taxes that are visiting excruciating hardships on our living conditions.   General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that the NPP took over a strong economy from the NDC but destroyed it. He recounted that the previous NDC administration left behind an economy with two oil fields and a sound manufacturing sector, among others.
