Nations FC center back Razak Simpson is eyeing a return to the Black Stars fold ahead of Ghana's 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March after impressing in his first two outings.

Simpson was called up to the Black Stars for the first time in November 2024 for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The imposing center back made his debut for Ghana in a 1-1 draw against Angola on November 15, putting up a sound showing. "When I wore the shirt, it became heavy on me but I reminded myself that this is what chose to do.

So I had to put everything aside and play," he said after his debut.
