Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, General Secretary, NDC General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that the NPP took over a strong economy from the NDC but destroyed it. He recounted that the previous NDC administration left behind an economy with two oil fields and a sound manufacturing sector, among others. But after destroying these achievements, he said, the NPP has turned around to say they inherited a bad economy. He said "When you say one village one dam and you know you do not have the capacity that is deception. Our policies are anchored on principles, the principle of respect for the people.
