The Minority caucus in Parliament has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government of attempting to buy time to cover up its incompetence in managing the country's economy.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, March 3, former Minister of Finance, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, said the government's economic policies lack direction and have only worsened the country's financial challenges.
Dr Amin Adam criticised the government's approach to economic management, arguing that it has failed to implement sustainable policies to stabilise the economy. "It is evident that the NDC government is merely stalling for time, hoping to shift blame instead of taking responsibility for the dire economic situation they have created.
This is a deliberate strategy to cover up their incompetence," he stated.
