Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), Dr Rashid Tanko-Computer has assured that GIFEC under his leadership will resolve all network challenges in rural communities.

Tanko-Computer underscored the need for government to connect communities with network challenges to telephone network to aid in the government's Resetting Agenda. "One of our major activities is rural telephony, the network challenges, communities that do not have network and all that. "We zoom in there to make sure that they also joined internet and telephony highway.

GIFEC will go into those areas, we want to make sure that all communities without network are hooked up and have a semblance of communication…GIFEC will solve all these problems," he said on TV3, Sunday, March 2, 2025.
